With reference to my letter No. 3462/08

Confidential of the 25th. ultimo, I am directed to inform you

that His Excellency the Governor-in-Council is of opinion that

the charges made against you have been proved. His Excellency

will therefore recommend to the Secretary of State for the

Colonies that you be dismissed from the service of this Govern!=

-ment with effect from the 19th. instant. Your half salary will

cease from the 20th, instant.
